Architecturally, the project balances clean, modern lines with traditional forms. The extension contrasts a sleek, flat-roofed modern building section with the original pitched-roof structure, creating a striking dialogue between old and new. Expansive windows enhance the views of the beautiful coastline, drawing natural light deep into the interior strengthening the connection between house and landscape. Natural materials chosen by Mac; stone, timber, and textured cladding anchor the home within its rugged coastal setting, allowing it to feel both modern and timeless.

Emphasis is placed on openness, comfort, and natural light. Spatial flow is carefully considered, with large communal areas transitioning smoothly into private rooms. Soft, neutral palettes complement the surrounding scenery, while contemporary furnishings and built-in cabinetry maintain a clean, uncluttered feel. The floor plan design shown highlights functional zoning, refined material choices, and thoughtfully integrated storage solutions, resulting in an interior that is both practical and serene.

Focused on durability and environmental sensitivity. Built to withstand coastal weather conditions, the structure incorporates reinforced materials, high-performance window glazing, and advanced insulation. Craftsmanship is evident in the detailing—from the precision of stonework to the execution of the large cantilevered rooflines. Landscaping further supports the design integrity, using natural boulders, native plantings, and gentle grading to blend the home into its site.
